Towards quantitative analysis of proteome dynamics

Figure 1: Two key features of the MasterMap approach are (i) the serial dilution of samples to eliminate background noise from immunoprecipitation pull-downs and (ii) the processing of LC-MS spectra from various biological samples by an algorithm that performs multiple alignments of precursor ions from the different LC-MS runs followed by clustering of the MS1 features according to selected intensity profiles.
