Biotech for your companion?
Abstract
In March, United Kingdom–based animal health firm Merial received conditional approval from the US Department of Agriculture, in Washington, DC, for a canine melanoma vaccine. This represents the first therapeutic cancer vaccine approved in the United States for any species, human or animal.
