Clinical Outsourcing and Contracts Manager – Ref NJ 13115
An outstanding opportunity to join a fast growing, international German based pharmaceutical company, that focuses primarily on analgesics but alongside this are also actively marketing oral contraceptives and treatment for respiratory tract disease. They are seeking a Clinical Outsourcing and Contracts Manager for their office in Aachen, Germany
JOB ROLE – Key activities include:
• Managing the outsourcing activities of Clinical Trials Phase I-IV on a global basis.
• Representing the company as the primary point of contact to external suppliers.
• Being the interface between internal clients and external suppliers regarding all outsourcing matters.
• Continuously observing and analysing the supplier market on a global basis.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Life Sciences or relevant field; additional business degrees are preferred.
• Significant experience in conducting and managing Clinical Trials in a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
• Previous experience in a role such as a CRA, Study Manager, Project Manager or Business Development Manager is ideal.
PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Fluent in English; basic German is advantageous.
• Business-oriented and customer-focused.
• The ability to prioritise with flexibility to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive and able to use initiative.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• A precise and well-structured working style.
• A good team player.
