PhD student position in cellular immunology
Summary
Description
PhD student position in cellular immunology
is available immediately or according to mutual agreement at the Biotechnology Institute Thurgau at the University of Konstanz in Kreuzlingen/Switzerland for the duration of 3-4 years.
In this project the molecular mechanism of in vitro and in vivo dendritic cell migration will be investigated. In a microarray screen of migratory versus non-migratory human dendritic cells we identified several molecules that might influence cell migration. The role of these molecules will be investigated in vitro using human monocyte-derived dendritic cells and in vivo mouse models. Further information is available at www.bitg.ch.
A University master or diploma degree in biology, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related areas is required. Review of applications will continue until the position has been filled.
