DAFRA PHARMA N.V., (www.dafra.be), based in Turnhout, Belgium, is an international pharmaceutical organisation oriented at research and development. The company displayed a steady growth over the years by creating, developing and introducing new drugs in its target areas. Dafra Pharma nv is at the cutting edge of medical, pharmaceutical and scientific discovery in areas such as malaria therapy. But other areas are not neglected. We develop and produce our successful medicines in close cooperation with universities and research institutes, both private and academic, according to the most recent GMP regulations and WHO directives. Our medicines are brought on the market in 36 countries, but especially in Africa. In Africa we have developed a unique distribution network where more than 120 employees of Dafra Pharma are active. In the future we want to expand our R&D activities and we want to diversify our product range with other necessary pharmaceutical and parafarmaceutical products.

Clinical Research Project Manager

Function

The challenge for the Clinical Research Project Leader is to take the responsibility over clinical studies. In close cooperation with European and international research centres and hospitals you coordinate ongoing and new clinical studies of medicines for malaria and other tropical diseases. You report directly to the R&D director and you can count on the support of our scientific and technical employees.

Profile

We seek a dynamic and creative colleague with minimum 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Someone who can work independently and is critical but who can also build good professional relationships. You studied a relevant higher scientific course (medicine, biology, biomedical sciences,…) and you are prepared to travel from time to time. You speak fluently French and English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage.
