The Division of Viral Pathogenesis has a postdoctoral position available December 1, 2009 to study SIV pathogenesis in African nonhuman primate, natural host species. This position is within a large multidisciplinary laboratory that focuses solely on AIDS virus pathogenesis and vaccine development. The applicant should have Ph.D. or M.D., experience in viral immunology including BL-2 work practices, basic molecular biology, and flow cytometry, and be able to work independently.
