The department Zellwachstum und Proliferation (Kst. A220) is seeking for a
Technician (Ref.-No. 132/2009)

Qualification

Your tasks:
Active collaboration in studies of cell growth and proliferation by using the Drosophila system in the lab of Prof. Bruce Edgar at the DKFZ and ZMBH
(Kst. A220).

Your profile:
• Up-to-date training in modern molecular biology
• Knowledge of genetics and cell biology, and at least 2 years experience in a laboratory are preferred
• Experience in light microscopy, cell culture, dissection, flow cytometry, gene expression analysis, bioinformatics and Drosophila genetics are desirable
• Good spoken and written English is required

The position is limited to 2 years with the possibility for extension.
