They are currently seeking an Associate Director Epidemiologist to join their offices based in the South East of England.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:   
•	Responsible for identifying comprehensive EOR strategies to help achieve product strategic targets and objectives 
•	Developing global Health Outcome plans for product/disease area, aligned to global commercial strategy in order to help secure reimbursement, market access/formulary listing and promotion, and optimal pricing globally
•	Responsible for designing EOR non-interventional studies, in collaboration with and within the GPSTs 
•	Responsible for the execution of such studies working with clinical teams
•	Responsible for contributing EOR components to clinical studies 
•	Responsible for development and validation of Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) instruments in support of GPSTs to fulfill regulatory and marketing needs
•	Internal and external spokesperson and technical expert on EOR 
•	Present Epidemiology & Health Outcomes data and evidence to regulatory agencies and advisors/opinion leaders
•	Leading health economics modeling and simulations activities 
•	Support the Clinical Research Departments and Product safety Department in clinical trial planning, creation and conduct of risk management strategies utilizing Epidemiology research techniques
•	Provides Epidemiology and Health Outcomes research expertise during due diligence
•	Setting goals, supervising, and evaluating performance of staff as well as planning growth of personnel

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•	Ph.D or Pharm.D with a masters in epidemiology or health economics, or MD with a MPH in epidemiology
•	Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO health-related consulting company, or academia, directly relevant to the responsibilities of the position are required
•	Ability to follow scientific arguments, identify EOR scientific data needs and solve EOR issues as required
•	Excellent qualitative and quantitative Epidemiological and/or Health Outcomes skills 
•	Familiarity with SAS or similar software for data manipulation and data tabulation

PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
•	Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills 
•	Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines are also essential
•	Excellent scientific writing, technical skills
