*_PhD Student - Diabetes m/f (D26/2009)_*

*Job Description*
- Biomarker characterization of diabetes type II with a focus on microbial gut (metametabolomics with mouse models and human samples)
- Operate and evaluate high resolution analytical techniques including sample preparation
- Statistical and Bioinformatic integration of complex datasets obtained in Metabolomics: data interpretation from ultrahigh resolution mass spectrometry (ICR-FT/MS) and 2D-LC/IM-MS² in collaboration with various disciplines (medical, bioinformatics)
- Close cooperative work with Microbiologists and mathematicians research groups

*Your Qualifications*
- Excellent diploma degree in (analytical)chemistry or biology with knowledge in metabolic pathways
- Basic skills in statistics and bioinformatics
- Interested to work in an open-minded interdisciplinary and international research team
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Highly motivated and team oriented
