A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Nevan Krogan at UCSF to use "systems" approaches (genetic and biochemical) to functionally interrogate the interface between HIV and the host cells they hijack.  The project is in the context of the HARC (HIV and accessory complexes) center (http://harc.ucsf.edu) involving several groups in the SF bay area.  Expertise in virology will be considered an asset.

The successful applicant should have a PhD in cell biology, biochemistry, genetics or molecular biology, and a background in biochemistry and/or cell biology.
