The School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy is part of the Faculty of Health and formally combines the disciplines of medical biochemistry & medical genetics, anatomy & human physiology, immunology & microbiology, and pharmacy & experimental pharmacology. The School teaches into all of the degree programs offered by the Faculty of Health (e.g. Medicine, Nursing, and Physiotherapy) as well as having primary responsibility for the Biomedical Science and Pharmacy programs. The School also prides itself on being one of the most research-intensive in the University, with its researchers operating in four broad clusters: Infection & Immunity; Molecular Medicine; Neuroscience; and Pharmacy & Applied Medicines. These clusters encompass researchers working on topics as diverse as the cell biology of cancer; the cell biology of fertilisation; asthma; the mechanistic basis of affective, addictive, sensory and neurodegenerative disorders; pharmacoeconomics; and the development of nutraceuticals.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to teach in the Master of Pharmacy Degree and conduct research relevant to the School's interests. It is expected that the successful applicant will hold a higher degree in Pharmacy, or a related field, or be willing to work towards one. It is desirable that the successful applicant also have experience in the areas of Pharmacy Practice and/or Pharmacotherapeutics. Applicants that have recently completed their postgraduate studies in Pharmacy are encouraged to apply.

This position is available on a full-time, ongoing basis.

Academic Level B $71,832 to $85,302 per annum
Academic Level C $87,994 to $101,465 per annum

Salary level within this range will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
