    <![CDATA[Dr. Peng Xiao's lab is focused on revealing roles of immune cells such as monocytes, B and T cells in the etiology of osteoporosis using functional genomics technology as well as cellular and molecular biology approaches. I am looking for a creative and energetic postdoctoral fellow to work on confirming predicted and/or discovering novel functions of genes identified in the functional genomics study supported by an NIH grant using methods of cellular and molecular biology. The requested techniques and skills include: 1) PhD or equal degree holder; 2) experienced cellular and molecular techniques, such as cell culture, Western Blotting, ELISA, electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA), vector construction and transfection, luciferase assay, qRT-PCR, and RNAi technology; 3) knowledge of molecular data analysis and interpretation, and simple statistical analysis;  4) skillful English writing ability with first author publications in peer reviewd Pub Med cited journals; 5) research experience in bone biology or immunology is preferable.
