This appointment is full-time, permanent and starts no later than 1 September 2010

Professorial - Salary is negotiable
Reader £46,278 to £52,086 per annum

*Our growing School of Pharmacy seeks a talented and ambitious person who will enhance the University's research strengths in neuroscience.*

In our purpose built, state of the art facilities you will continue to develop your independent research programme whilst contributing strategic leadership within the School of Pharmacy and the Centre for Integrative Neurosciences and Neurodynamics.

You will have:

• a track record of securing external funding and managing a research group in neuroscience
• an international reputation for your research with publications in high impact journals
• knowledge of the broad area of pharmacology and therapeutics relevant to MPharm undergraduates
• an interest in working collaboratively both within and without Reading School of Pharmacy
• good communication skills and a desire to support junior colleagues
