*Assay Biochemist*
Pharmaxis Ltd is a specialist pharmaceutical company that researches, develops and commercialises new therapies for undertreated respiratory diseases.

The company is looking to expand their Research Department and is recruiting for the following roles to be actively involved with drug discovery research;

*Assay Biochemist* - To lead the Biochemistry/Assay Laboratory. Responsible for establishing _in vitro_ assay screening systems and determining enzyme inhibition kinetics/receptor binding properties. Knowledge of primary/secondary cell-free and cell-based assays is essential.

*Qualifications* - Applicants will have a PhD degree in a relevant subject area plus have strong experience of research within the pharmaceutical industry.

*The role to be based in Sydney, Australia.*
