Applications are invited from junior scientists for a full-time, contingent position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Genetics or a related discipline, and a minimum of 3 years postdoctoral training with evidence of demonstrated scholarly research. Consideration will also be given to those individuals holding an MD degree with relevant research experience. Preference will be given to individuals with potential to maintain a successful independent research program especially in the field of medical genetics. Prior teaching experience will be considered an asset.

Salary of the incumbent will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated start date is *July 1, 2010* or as negotiated.
