The position is associated with the Transregional Collaborative Research Center (Sonderforschungsbereich/Transregio) SFB/TRR54 "Growth and Survival, Plasticity, and Cellular Interactivity in Lymphoid Malignancies" funded by the German Resarch Association (DFG).

The TRR54 is a research consortium of about 30 principal investigators in Berlin and Munich (affiliated with Universities and Institutes of the Max-Planck and the Helmholtz Societies) that cooperatively works on fundamental and translational aspects of lymphoma development and lymphoma therapy using genetically engineered mouse models, co-culture systems of primary cells and genome-wide profiling platforms to explore the implications of cellular re-programming, trans-differentiation, stemness, growth and survival signalling as well as complex tumor-tumor- and tumor-host interactions for lymphoma biology.

The TRR54 seeks a highly motivated, internationally recognized expert to establish a junior research group in a field that matches the scope and complements the scientific portfolio of the TRR54. We are particularly interested in researchers with significant achievements in one of the *following areas of Lymphoma Research:*

• Molecular, Celluar and Organismic Imaging
• Systems Biology*

The junior group leader will be affiliated with the TRR54 as an independent but well integrated principal investigator. The interactions and collaborative possibilities within the TRR54 consortium provide an ideal starting platform for a young researcher. The group leader is expected to establish an innovative research program that seamlessly interconnects with other work packages within the TRR54, and to obtain additional extramural funding for scientific personnel and supplies.
