*Senior Research Fellows in Complex Networks (one post)*

*£36,532 - £43,622 p.a. with discretionary range to £47,666*

*CABDyN Complexity Centre, Saïd Business School*

We are seeking to recruit two Senior Research Fellows in Complex Networks to be based at the CABDyN Complexity Centre at the University of Oxford. Candidates will be expected to have a PhD in an appropriate discipline (e.g physical, mathematical, engineering or computer sciences) with postdoctoral training in complex systems and networks, with a track record of serious interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement. Further information on CABDyN and the full further particulars for the post are available at http://sbs-xnet.sbs.ox.ac.uk/complexity/

The advertised post is funded through a new research project.

The ICTeCollective Project (Harnessing ICT-enabled Collective Social Behaviour) is funded by the European Commission, and will require the analysis and modelling of large-scale empirical datasets of technologically mediated social interactions. It will include the application of techniques such as complex network analysis to online and other ICT environments, and will involve the development of agent-based or stochastic models for dynamic processes on networks, such as the spread of online innovations. The ICTeCollective post is funded for two and a half years, ideally commencing 1 April 2010, or as soon as possible thereafter.

To apply send a detailed covering letter indicating how you fulfil the requirements of the post together with a detailed curriculum vitae and the names and complete contact details (including email addresses if possible) of two referees, to vacancies@sbs.ox.ac.uk or to the HR Department at the Saïd Business School, Egrove Park, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5NY. The closing date is 12:00 noon (GMT) on Wednesday 2 December 2009. It is expected that interviews will be held in the week commencing 4 January 2010.

*Committed to equality and valuing diversity*
