*SENIOR ACADEMIC POSITIONS IN PARASITOLOGY*

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), led by Professor Janet Hemingway, is an international postgraduate centre of excellence. LSTM is looking to strengthen and expand its successful Molecular and Biochemical Parasitology Group through the appointment of a new academic posts.

*Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Filarial Parasitology
Ref: 754*

*3 year tenured track appointment*

An expert in the field of filariasis (Lymphatic filariasis and onchocerciasis) you will be expected to synergise with existing staff working in these areas. The development of your own independently funded research group and a commitment to contribute to LSTM's teaching programmes and administration are pre-requisites of the role. Job title and salary will be dependent upon experience.

Starting dates will be by negotiation, but a post are available from January 2010.
