£30,000 - £45,000 + Car + 15k OTE + Pension + Healthcare + Benefits

We seek a Sales Territory Manager to take responsibility for the sale of automated solutions for applications in the life sciences field in the Southeast of England.
 
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will generate revenue growth through the successful positioning of existing and newly developed products to the market and will be responsible for the care of existing and for acquiring new customers primarily in London, Cambridge and Kent. There is the potential to key account manage two main accounts as part of the role. 

Responsibilities 

•	Accurately forecast and achieve quota objectives 
•	Set and manage performance criteria, including pipeline, account penetration and activity levels 
•	Prepare and deliver effective multi Million dollar proposals and presentations 
•	Actively participate in key capital equipment deals, strategy, execution, and building customer and external partner relationships 
•	Ability to collaborate with and direct the activities of the Field Applications Specialists 
•	Effectively interface and negotiate with third party instrument suppliers 
•	Build personal credibility and manage customer relationships at Director and VP levels 
•	Work closely with Marketing, Applications and the proposal team to develop and present a professional solution to the customer 

  

For this challenging job we are looking for a motivated application orientated sales person with experience in the sale of goods or services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, a broad knowledge of life science applications, a proven organizational talent and ideally experience in dealing with liquid handling/automation technologies.

Person Specification

•	Proven Track record of successful sales in Life Sciences Markets
•	Experienced in Solution selling and targeting specific applications
•	Experience in building long term relationships with clients 
•	A self-starter who is focused, reliable, flexible, and well-organized 
•	Ability to grasp scientific terms and concepts 
•	Ability to generate sales from their own endeavours yet work as part of a winning team
•	Tenacious and hard working with a passion for customer satisfaction 
•	Love of new challenges and problem solving 
•	Ability to successfully work deals involving complex contract negotiations 
•	High energy level, self-motivated, with demonstrated success working independently or in a team-oriented environment 
•	Ability to make decisions, keep composure and sense of humour in difficult situations or possible conflicting deadlines 
•	Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make presentations
•	Professional appearance that represents the company’s image to employees, customers, and partners 
•	Computer proficiency 
•	Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel
