*PHARMACOLOGY GROUP LEADER
Key Responsibilities*
The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership to our pharmacology group and mentoring of scientists and staff. As a participant in international and multi-disciplinary discovery and development teams, he or she will be a key player in the discovery of novel drug candidates as well as their translation into the clinic. Responsibilities will include establishing appropriate pharmacological models, validation of targets and models, development of biomarkers, testing of lead compounds and profiling of drug candidates in disease relevant models as well as interpretation, reporting and publication of data. The candidate is expected to propose and implement state-of-the art methodologies to further enhance the drug discovery process, to facilitate the translation of preclinical findings to clinical studies, to establish new indications for drug candidates and also to contribute to the generation of new drug discovery projects.

*Key Responsibilities*

	Ph.D. in Pharmacology and/or life science with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cancer biology and in preclinical drug discovery with a track record of success
	Expertise in rodent tumor models along with excellent observational, organizational and documentation skills and proficiency in statistical analysis and interpretation of experimental data 
	Experience with pharmacokinetics, metabolism , toxicology, biomarkers and in vivo imaging techniques would be an advantage
	Strong leadership, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
	Ability to manage multiple and complex projects, to work across disciplines and to liaise with internal and external partners
	Ability to implement new drug discovery projects as well as new techniques/technologies to improve efficacy and quality of drug discovery
