    <![CDATA[ <b><font size="3">Mayo Clinic<br>Postdoctoral Position</font></b> <br> <br> Postdoctoral Position -<br> Bioinformatics<br> Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN <br> <br> Summary <br> <br> A postdoctoral position is available for bioinformatics research under the direction of Peter Li, Ph.D., in the Division of Biomedical Informatics. He/she will be part of a new team that will conduct research whose scope will cover many of the "-omics" subjects, e.g. genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and system biology. The focus of the program will be on translational and individualized medicine applications via bioinformatics analysis of molecular and system data. The diversity of subject matter will require a creative mind, deploying imaginative strategies, with dedication to solving complex and challenging problems. Successful candidate will have demonstrated above skills in addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills. <br> <br> Qualifications <br> <br> The ideal candidate should have a MD and/or PhD in life sciences (or equivalent) and a MS or BS in computer science. Preference will be given to applicants with in-depth experience with bench research and bioinformatics analysis.
