    <![CDATA[The Rockefeller University, a leading biomedical research institution, seeks an Executive Editor to join The Journal of Experimental Medicine at The Rockefeller University Press.

Under the general direction of the Press Director and the academic Editors, the Executive Editor will be responsible for the administration of the peer review process and implementation of progressive improvements to the Journal. Will supervise the editorial office staff and will oversee all aspects of manuscript review, "frontmatter" generation, and data screening. General goals include attracting high quality submissions to the Journal, and maximizing office efficiency. Other responsibilities include travel to relevant scientific meetings and laboratory visits.

The successful candidate will have broad interests in immunology and disease biology and will be able to evaluate the suitability of manuscripts for publication in the Journal and the integrity of submitted data.  Ph.D. in immunology or a relevant field required.  Post-doctoral experience preferred.  Minimum of three years editorial experience required.
