The CCE (Chocolate Center of Excellence) is opening soon in Broc Switzerland. This R&D Center is an internal enabler to build further on Nestle’s competences in the areas chocolate craft and technology. It is also a tool to demonstrate Nestle competences to the outside world positively reflecting & enhancing its image as providers of premium & indulgent chocolate products. 

For this new team we are looking for: 

Chocolate Food Technologists 

Main purpose of the job: 
- To technically create/develop and improve Chocolate Confectionery ranges in the Super Premium-Premium categories (masses, assortments, tablets,etc..) in line with core technologies. 
- To ensure adequate collaboration with various stakeholders in the R&D community. 
– To contribute & manage projects to deliver innovative and competitive products and processes/systems in response to business needs. 

Main responsabilities: 
Project management and project-related activities 
- Technically Support team of Confiseur, Chocolatiers-Patissiers in creating new products 
- Identify project proposals, incl. basic resource planning, together with involved parties within R&D. 
- Provide various support to project management: contribute to definition of work plans, project activities, delivering end products of defined quality within defined time using Nestle Management systems. 
- Assist in industrialization start-ups, follow-up product launches (technical/product improvements) 
- Contribute to Presentation /publications of key project results to R&D, Markets and Marketing together with team members 
- Ensure professional tracking of Projects/Activities related data’s & information. 
- Ensure a full collaboration & usage of Nestle R&D network in order to avoid duplications of activities. 

People development 
- Facilitate team spirit to reach project goals 
- Technically support and develop the Confiseur ‘s teamInnovation/knowledge 
- Drive new ideas, propose new raw materials/processes/products/systems 
- Build and document knowledge about trends and developments in relevant field, planning methods, and Market and factory cost structures 
- Protect intellectual assets for his/her projects in cooperation with patent department and IAM champion 

Your profile: 
- BSc, MSc, PhD in Food Technology/Science or related scientific subject, 
- Ideally, with at least 2 to 3 years experience in Confectionery business or Super Premium/Premium food category. 
- Strong knowledge & passion for chocolate -Patisserie 
- Obsession for all Quality aspects & detail focused 
- Fluency in French & English (written & oral)
