Loyola University Medical Center’s Burn and Shock Trauma Institute is seeking new and established investigators with research interest in tissue injury and repair. Areas of specialty may include but are not limited to inflammation, connective tissue metabolism, wound healing, fibrotic disorders, tissue engineering, angiogenesis, and epithelial barrier function. &nbsp;As an integral part of Loyola’s campus wide initiative to expand multi-disciplinary research teams capable of addressing scientific problems with high clinical impact, the Institute is comprised of established investigators each with their own unique, but complementary research programs. Successful applicants will hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree, have relevant post-doctoral or prior faculty experience is required, and will be expected to develop and maintain their own extramurally-funded research program. Positions will be filled at a level commensurate with experience. Loyola Medical Center offers excellent laboratory facilities, competitive salary and startup packages, and access to state-of-the-art core facilities.
