How do I get my job posted online?
"Easy, to post your job online you can use our free auto-posting service. Simply click here and follow the online instructions. Within 24 hours, all your positions will be posted online at www.nature.com/naturejobs/science for 8 weeks completely free of charge. Alternatively you can contact your representative by email, phone or fax."
How do I get my job in print?
"We're happy to receive your job posting by email or you can phone us to discuss details and best options. If you email us we will contact you confirm your order and the cost before placing your ad. We will respond to any phone call or email almost immediately during normal business hours."
How quickly can I get my ad to appear in Nature?
"Within a week - at most! Nature is printed weekly, each Thursday, and has a very quick production and deadline turn around time to assist in recruiting the right candidate for you quickly. The deadline if you are in North America is the Thursday prior to publication and for Europe and the Asia Pacific region it is the Friday prior to publication."
Can you create the ad for me?
"Of course we can, it's all part of the service! All we need is your text and any logos or graphics you would like to include and our experienced production department will be happy to assist. For a no obligation quote send this over to your regional representative."
How much will it cost?
"That depends entirely on the size. We have a full range of costs to help with any budget. Please contact your local representative to get a full picture regarding costs."
Do you have special sections?
"Naturejobs is divided into 3 sections:
- Recruitment
- Announcements
- Events
In addition, the following sections are featured:
* Focus - Two to three times a month Naturejobs presents a special Focus on scientific opportunities within a specific discipline, subject area, level or research sector. These specials are tied into Bonus Distribution at key conferences around the world and Career and Recruitment Features that examines the dynamics of employment in different fields and provide a realistic assessment of employment opportunities.
* Highlight- A section devoted to looking at science in one particular geographic region or institution.
* Spotlight / Regions- Once every three to four years, we visit a specific region across the globe and see what is happening there. The Spotlight is unique in that it follows an editorial feature that explores the current scientific landscape in that area. It contains advertisements for local jobs, events, and announcements. Contact your representative to see if where you work is being covered."
How can I pay?
"In whichever way is most convenient to you: Purchase Order, Credit Card, or Direct Billing."
Can I place an advert in one of your monthly journals eg. Nature Immunology?
"Absolutely. You may even be entitled to a reduced rate if you are already advertising in Nature. The monthly journals have approximately 2 to 3 week deadlines ahead of the date of publication. As they all vary, please contact your representative who can give you the exact deadline for your journal of choice."
