Oncogenes and Human Cancer: The Next 25 Years
Nature and Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas (Spanish National Cancer
Research Centre) are pleased to announce a conference focusing on the future of cancer
research on the 25th anniversary of the isolation of oncogenes from human tumours.
Oncogenes and Human Cancer: The Next 25 Years
October 3-6, 2007, Madrid, Spain.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
This meeting has been organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the isolation of cancer genes from human tumours. These studies represent a landmark in the understanding of the molecular mechanisms responsible for human neoplasia. We now have a more detailed understanding of the molecular changes within transformed cells and how these and the tumour microenvironment influence cancer development. Oncogenes and Human Cancer: The Next 25 Years will be a unique event that will emphasize the future directions for cancer research and treatment over the next 25 years.
