Nature Chemical Biology Symposium

Nature Publishing Group and The New York Academy of Sciences are pleased to announce the second Nature Chemical Biology Symposium:

Chemical Neurobiology February 22-23, 2008, The New York Academy of Sciences, New York, NY, USA

The 2008 symposium will explore how chemists and biologists are using the tools and philosophy of chemical biology to understand the molecular basis of neuronal function. The two-day meeting will comprise a series of four scientific sessions that look at distinct molecular functions of a neuron and concludes with a keynote session featuring Linda Buck, a pioneer in the field of neuroscience.

Session 1 - Chemical Sensing
Session 2 - Synapses and Signaling
Session 3 - Synthetic Neurobiology
Session 4 - Brain Matters
Session 5 - Keynote Session
