Nature Genetics, the Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, and Anhui Medical University are pleased to present:

Genome Variation in Precision Medicine 2016

May 27–29, 2016
Shenzhen Kylin Villa, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

For over a decade, equipped with powerful technologies for large-scale genotyping and sequencing analyses, geneticists around the world have been engaged an unprecedented collaborative effort to systematically interrogate the full spectrum of common, low frequency and rare variation that contributes to human health and diseases. While we are using this information to gain a causal understanding of pathogenesis and mechanisms of diseases, we can also discuss accelerating and improving the treatment of cancers as well as cardiovascular and metabolic diseases via the identification of drug targets and biomarkers. This Natureconference, co-organized by Nature Genetics, Shenzhen Second People's Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University) and Anhui Medical University of China will discuss the new progress in the genetic and genomic analysis of diseases and explore the challenges as well as opportunities for integrating healthcare delivery with genomic research for the improvement of clinical practice and public health.
