How to Reach Capri Island

Flying in from Naples travelers can proceed by taxi or bus to the port of Molo Beverello. The bus is a 25 minute trip. The taxi is 15 minutes. From Molo Beverello you can take a ferry or hydrofoil to the island.

Ferry or Hydrofoil


From Naples at the port of Molo Beverello. The ferry takes about 80 minutes. The hydrofoil takes about 40 minutes. Boats run every 40-50 minutes.

From Sorrento, the ferry takes 40 minutes. The hydrofoil takes about 20 minutes

For alternate travel services, you can hire a water taxi or other private means of transport.

The Ferry will land in the Marina Grande. Heading to the center of Capri you can take a cab or the Funicular railway, a cable car links the Marina Grande to the city center.
