        Raymond Gosling: DNA photographer

        Sixty years ago this week, James Watson and Francis Crick published a paper suggesting a structure for DNA. In the same issue of Nature were two other papers offering crucial supporting evidence for their model. The evidence was from x-ray crystallography, done by a team from King's College London. Raymond Gosling, then a PhD student, took one of the most significant photos of DNA. Here he speaks exclusively to Nature’s Kerri Smith.
