Ferromagnetism: Good companions

The idea that superconductivity and ferromagnetism might, after all, coexist was proved true with the discovery of both properties in UGe2 and ZrZn2. Now ferromagnetic URhGe has been found to be superconducting at ambient pressure, suggesting that the combination of superconductivity and ferro-magnetism is more common, and more important, than was realized.
