Ferromagnetism: Good companions

The idea that superconductivity and ferromagnetism might, after all, coexist was proved true with the discovery of both properties in UGe₂ and ZrZn₂. Now ferromagnetic URhGe has been found to be superconducting at ambient pressure, suggesting that the combination of superconductivity and ferro-magnetism is more common, and more important, than was realized.
