Abstract
The revamped museum at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will offer the public access to science in action, as more museums should, argues director John Durant.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) used to run a small, almost hidden museum that had one really big asset: MIT. A wealth of exemplary scientific and technological research was directly accessible to the museum, an advantage not enjoyed by many, much larger, national and independent museums.
