Abstract
Neuroscientist Ryuta Kawashima promotes the idea that computer games can boost the ageing brain — but others in the field remain sceptical. Ichiko Fuyuno investigates.
On a chilly, rainy day last November, Ikuyo Narawa climbed on a tour bus in Tokyo in the hope of revitalizing her brain. She knew that she drank too much and never exercised, and she thought that her memory was weakening.
