A sinking feeling


The IPCC Working Group II report suggests that we can't rely on the terrestrial and ocean carbon sinks indefinitely. But in a Commentary, Reay et al. argue that with appropriate ecosystem management, the sinks can be maintained into the future despite the threat of a warming climate.
