From aircraft engineer to FBI suspect

On his return from a trip to China on 26 May, J. Reece Roth, an emeritus professor of electrical engineering at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, was greeted at the airport by agents from the Customs Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
