Snapshot: Cloudshine is a stellar snap for Harvard duo

Gas clouds in starlight captured on camera.

These ghostly swirls are the first images of gas clouds reflecting starlight. Lying more than 1,000 light years away, they are part of the Perseus Molecular Cloud, a region where new stars form.
