A BHI agar Petri dish was swabbed with a confluent lawn of S. epidermidis and sterile discs were placed on the agar surface. Discs were then inoculated with an overnight culture of P. aeruginosa (b), purified MVs (c), ethyl acetate extract of purified MVs (d) or ethyl acetate as a control (e).
