For those who want to spot their own arrays, a number of companies provide standard-sized 25 
76 mm coated slides especially formulated for protein arrays. Proteins arrayed on the nitrocellulose-coated FASTSlide from Schleicher and Schuell Bioscience in Cologne, Germany, are stable for up to three years at room temperature, according to the company.
