HEK293 cells were transiently transfected with empty pCMV
SPORT6 vector, Pool-58 or CAS, and the [Ca2+]i status before (0.l mM) and after treatment with 2.5 mM Ca2+o was analysed using Fura-2-based Ca2+ imaging9. [Ca2+]i increases are indicated by increased Fura-2 emission ratios (F340 nm/F380 nm) and scaled by a pseudo-colour bar in relative units. Arrows show cells with CICI.
