A more apt subtitle for this excellent book might have been 'Bioethics into the Black Hole'. Ronald Green, a considered thinker, bears credible witness to the lamentable standard of argument, the subterfuge of lobby groups and the ruthless politicking that has dominated Washington-based policy-making over embryo research and related scientific developments.
