Social Values and Research in Human Embryology

Abstract

New techniques for interfering with the early stages of human development raise difficult social and legal issues, which are discussed here by an embryologist and a lawyer. This article is based on a lecture and discussion held at the National Law Center of the George Washington University in December 1968.
