Electron Hole Pairs in the Irradiation of Condensed Systems JOSEPH J. WEISS
Laboratory of Radiation Chemistry, School of Chemistry, University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
RECENT studies on -irradiated frozen aqueous solutions at 77° K have led to the elucidation of the kinetics of the reactions of electrons and holes produced by radiation1. From this it can be inferred that the nature of the active primary species produced by radiation has to account for the following observations.
