Abstract
DURING the summer of 1965 the Oxford University Expedition to East Greenland visited the north-eastern section of the extensive area of Tertiary lavas which stretches northwards from Kangerdlugssuaq to the Scoresby Sund fjord system. This communication describes the results of the field investigation alone; the laboratory investigations, including petrological, minera-logical, age and palaeomagnetic investigations, have yet to be completed.
