Fine Structure of Pythium de baryanum Hesse and its Probable Significance

ELECTRON micrographs of young hyphæ of Pythium de baryanum reveal some striking differences from young hyphæ of other fungi, for example, Rhizopus spp.1, Neurospora crassa 2, and vegetative cells of yeasts3.
