Abstract
FISHES of the family Citharinidae, belonging to the genera Phago Steind., Eugnathichthys Blgr. and Belonophago Gilt. (Figs. 1–2), together forming part of the sub-family Ichthyoborinae, have an extremely specialized and curious feeding-habit, being, namely, fin-eaters.
