Subtilin C: an Antibiotic Concentrate from Bacillus subtilis
Abstract
In recent publications2 by members of the Northern and Western Regional Research Laboratories, United States Department of Agriculture and the University of California., extensive investigations on the production of the active antibiotic concentrate subtilin from two strains of B. subtilis {A.T.G.C. 6633, N.B.B.L. ? 543; and A.T.G.C. 7080, N.B.B.L. 537) have been described, together with some of its properties.
