The colors of the map units indicate the estimates for the average (A) age and (B) diabetes duration within the patient subset on a particular map region. (C) The gender distributions on the map units. The color of each hexagonal map unit indicates the percentage of male gender with respect to the total number of patients that reside on the unit in question. (D, E) Blood pressure and (F) waist circumference for the patient subsets within each map unit. The percentages of (G) antihypertensive treatment, (H) DRD and (I) lipid-lowering treatment were obtained as described above.
