Spindle cell liposarcoma. The spindle cells in these lesions commonly express CD34 (left; a) and around 30% of cases show nuclear positivity for S-100 protein in the spindle cell component (top right; b). Similar to spindle cell lipoma, these lesions often show loss of Rb—note that staining is retained in endothelial cells and inflammatory cells (lower right; c).
