Invasive breast cancer. Positive staining of lymphatic endothelium with D2-40 shows the presence of tumor emboli in the lumen of the lymph vessels (times 100). These tumor emboli could be visualized on H&E sections as they did not obliterate the lumen of the lymphatics.
