Caspase-3 activity as assessed in SU-DHL-1 cells treated with 5 muM of doxorubicin for 6 h. Treatment of SU-DHL-1 cells with doxorubicin resulted in significant increase of caspase-3 enzymatic activity, whereas the latter remained at the levels of control SU-DHL-1 cells after addition of either DEVD-FMK or Boc-D-FMK.
